- WORKPLACE CULTURE

Workplace
Consulting

Beyond legal services, BLJohnsonLaw is uniquely qualified to help organizations prevent, prepare for, and heal from workplace conflict.

Legal DEI Strategies

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in today's workplace has been the subject of intense scrutiny since January 2025. Executive Order 14173 eliminated affirmative action obligations for federal contractors, revoking Executive Order 11246 and requiring contractors to certify they do not operate "illegal" DEI programs. Executive Order 14173 also targeted DEI activities in major corporations, financial institutions, higher education, and other influential institutions, declaring them "illegal" and undermining federal civil rights laws.

BLJohnsonLaw has the experience needed to assist employers in navigating these uncharted waters.  We help employers develop strategies for attracting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workplace and complying with the law.

BLJohnsonLaw offers:

  • Consultations with senior leadership, HR directors, and organizational development professionals to establish effective and legally compliant DEI programs that are in line with the organization’s values

  • Strategies to mitigate the risk of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs

  • Assistance in crafting effective messaging to internal and external stakeholders about the organization’s strategies for diversity and inclusion

  • Educational programs about the importance of creating and sustaining cultures of belonging

Workplace Compliance Training

Compliance training is absolutely essential to mitigate risks of litigation and liability  for unfair and unlawful employment practices.

  • Internal investigations
